Brief
To design a contemporary, beautiful garden which harmonises well with a new summer house.
Key Features
The client required a chic entertaining and relaxing space. They planned to renovate an outbuilding, so the new garden needed to work with the house and new summer house. The site was sloping, so the garden was designed over two main levels. The upper level would serve more as the ‘house’ garden, and the lower garden would act as a slightly secluded sunken garden by the summer house. The lower garden will become more secluded as the planting matures; this will give the feeling of a more private, separate space.
